Beauty And Cute How to Crochet a Baby Hat! New Season 2019 Images!
If you do not have a baby hat in your arsenal, what are you waiting for! Not only are hats easy to crochet and easy enough for novice rabbits, they are great gifts (I’m not the only one crawling for a baby shower gift at the last minute, right?). And when you work on a hat the size of a baby, you do it before you know it. Win-win.
The tutorial presented here will give you the basics, but there is always room to adapt, be creative and customize your hat.
Step 1: Choose your thread and your hook
Of course, you can use the wire you want. But remember, not all threads are identical. Consider these problems before you start hanging on.
Choose a soft thread. Let’s say what is obvious: a hat will come very close to the baby’s head – the thread should be soft. Think of other sensibilities: wool may be a good choice, but not if your group of friends are allergic to it.
Choose a washable thread. New parents do not have time to wash a hat in their hands, so do not ask them. Choose a wire that does not contract and is not damaged in the washing machine. Bonus points for a thread that can also be thrown into the dryer.
Choose a thread with which you can easily work. Now is the time to help and choose a thread that has a good stitch definition, and not a difficult eyelash thread. A lighter color will help you see your points more clearly, a key benefit if you continue to pick the thread. Choose a weight of yarn that is comfortable for you.
I made my hat with combed cotton thread. Use the appropriate hook for the selected wire (found on the label). I used a G-size hook. For example, if you worked with a larger, bulky wire, you could use a J-size hook.
