Plush Teddy Bears Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

You are probably reading this post because you want to start your first amigurumi project. You may have even found the Beginner Skill Level Template (simple), however you don’t know what all these points mentioned in the template are and how you should know how to work with them.

You’ve probably seen the cute little handmade toys that pop up on your social media from time to time. These amazing babies are called amigurumi dolls. Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting small stuffed animals in continuous circles. In some definitions, it also includes small (or large) weaving dolls and even other thread crafts. To be honest, there are no official restrictions, you can be as creative as you are. Although amigurumi dolls are native to Asia, their cute faces have taken the world by storm. Its popularity has grown since we entered the 21st century, and its fame doesn’t seem to wane anytime soon.


The height of the tedy bears amigurumi turns out to be 17-18 cm, but depending on the yarn and hook you choose, your density and the growth of the toy may differ.
The head, tail, ears and nose are sewn on. The legs are all knitted in, the nose can be replaced with a plastic one with a secure attachment.

NECESSARY MATERIALS:
Himalaya Dolfin Baby yarn or other analog plush yarn a little less than half a skein
Half-cotton nose thread
Eyes: 10 mm
Hook: 4.5mm and 3mm (for nose)
Needle, needle tailors
Scissors
Knitting needles for fixing the head while sewing
