I wanted some basic fall hats with a twist for the boys, so I created this Easy Colorblock hat knitting pattern. These hats are light but still warm enough for this transitional climate. The rich colors work well with the boy’s fall clothes.

I used Lion Brand Jeans for this model. It’s a great new yarn that mimics the look and colors of jeans. Each color has a tweed effect that adds interest to everything you knit. The yarn is medium weight and very soft, perfect for accessories and clothing!
