Fleur hanging basket Crochet Pattern
Crocheting isn’t just a hobby for retired grandmothers – it’s a craft or even an art form that is gaining in popularity. Crochet is both practical and creative, and can be a great way to watch Netflix productively on cold, rainy days. Here we give instructions on how to create a simple bag using basic crochet techniques. This pattern can be adapted to suit almost any size and style of bags.
It was a really fun project for me because it worked fast and felt very “summer”. If you follow the blog, you may remember that I shared the Eco-String Market Knitted Bag Pattern (here) and have received requests for a knitted bag since then. This is definitely the lightest bag I’ve ever made (see my other bags here and here), but also one of the most durable.
Fleur is a stylish and practical hanging basket, it can be used as an odds and ends organiser, or as shown pop a cute faux succulent pot in it for an on trend decorator piece.
Requirements: 75m of 12 ply yarn or you can double strand an 8ply/DK yarn (sample shown is Moda Vera Egerton Twist)
