Easy Baby Sweater Crochet Pattern

Baby blankets and baby afghans are lovely crochet projects. They are both useful and beautiful. They make great baby shower gifts and are also great for charity knitting or crocheting.

If you are looking for a quick and easy knitting pattern for a baby sweater, look no further! This sweater is worked in stockinette stitch (knit on one side, purl on the other). The shaping is very minimal. The project is ideal for beginner knitters!

I used Lion Brand’s Touch of Alpaca for this model. Alpaca is similar to sheep’s wool but warmer, softer and hypoallergenic. Touch of Alpaca is available in an array of modern neutral colors and jewel tones. It’s easy to work with and the weight is ideal for spring temperatures!
